Our operation is now one of the Champagne houses classified HVE (High Environmental Value) and Sustainable Viticulture of Champagne, from the Grenelle de l'Environnement.
To obtain this sesame, four indicators were taken into account in our domain:
• the biodiversity - fertilization
• phytosanitary protection
• water management
These new specifications impose on us an investment in several ways and above all, a change in our management of the vineyard.
These efforts allow, among other things:
• full traceability of the production of our grapes
• the significant reduction in the use of phytosanitary products
• the continuation of the grass
• the establishment of hedges and low walls in the vines.
